Obama sent a robo-email to me about what issue is important to me. As likely will most people this election cycle, I picked job creation/strengthening the economy.
Here is what I said:
We need to create jobs for the future so that my kids don’t get out of college and feel like they’ve been lied to, the way that my generation feels. We were told that if you go to college, do well, study, and graduate, that you will be rewarded. But right now, the only people being rewarded are the colleges collecting on student loans that we don’t dare default on and the big businesses that only feel the sharpness of an economic downturn by quarterly profits, not weekly grocery bills.
